LUCY CATHERINE - Writer / Director

Lucy is an experienced and award-winning writer who has created many original stories for screen, radio and stage and has a particular love of the supernatural/horror genre. During her twenty-year career Lucy has worked with many top writers, producers and directors. Lucy trained in Theatre at Dartington College of Arts and has directed stage work at The Bristol Old Vic and The Tobacco factory amongst other venues. She has developed a number of original dramas for television and written for successful primetime television series such as Being Human, Musketeers and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man.  She has also been commissioned to write several feature films. Her feature script ‘In the Dark Half’ was the first film to be produced by Creative England’s iFeatures scheme. Currently Lucy is developing a number of new projects for the big and small screen both in the UK and internationally. 

KERRI TROUNCE - Producer

Kerri ventured into being an independent Producer in 2003. With a passion for producing horror films, she has produced award winning short films such as ‘Who’, ‘Uninvited’ and ‘Red Balloon’. ‘Who’ won the UK short film award at Fright Fest in 2003, leading to 'UNINVITED' winning Best Actress at the Barcelona Film Festival in 2005. It was also Awarded Special Mention's at the Strasbourg Film Festival & the Los Angeles Short Film Festival & an Official Selection at the New York Short Film festival & the Chicago Short Film festival. 'RED BALLOON' was selected by numerous festivals, including Festival International de Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs International ShortFest, Festival International Du Film Fantastique de Gerardmer, won the Directorial Discovery Award at Rhodes Island Horror Film Festival and was sold to Arte TV channel, France and Egoist TV channel for Russia. Red Balloon was released online on VIMEO and DAILYMOTION, and it reached more than 100 000 views in one week. Currently Kerri is developing a slate of feature films.

 

JONATHAN HARVEY - Cinematographer

Jonathan has been a cinematographer for 15 years, graduating from the NFTS in the UK. He has worked on all size of projects from short films, music videos, documentaries and art projects up to feature films, most recently working with Thomas Vinterberg on Far from The Madding Crowd. Jonathan has shot all round the world and quite often totally on his own.

 

COLETTE HODGES – Editor

Colette has had a huge passion for the horror genre since she was a kid and she has worked as a film editor on dramas and documentaries for 24 years. She has also directed six half hour documentaries for HTV West Bristol and 4 short dramas. She studied Media Production at Bournemouth University and began her career as an editor in Bristol. Some of her favourite editing work includes the dark and off-beat film- The Man Who Eats Badgers and Other Strange Tales on Bodmin Moor (2008 Bafta TV Craft, Break through talent to Director Daniel Vernon), the funny and moving film Ray Gosling OAP (2007 Grierson award for the Most Entertaining documentary including RTS editing nomination), the touching sci-fi drama Luke and The Void (Best Live Action short at Stamford Children's Festival 2010) and BBC's heart breaking award winning Protecting Our Children Damned if You Do, Damned if you Don't which picked up two RTS editing awards in 2012 .

 

BENJI BOWER - Composer

Benji is a composer, producer and Musical Director for theatre, film, dance and television. 2 times nominated Olivier Award nominee for Hetty Feather and Cinderella. Winner of Global independent film awards for Best Original Soundtrack for Weekend Retreat. Benji has worked with artists, producers and directors such as Sally Cookson, Alice Russell, Bonobo, Kneehigh Theatre and Luck G Productions.  Benji’s music has featured on BBC 1,2,3 and 4, Channel 4 and 5, programs include: Frozen Planet, Faster Harder Stronger, Star Gazing, the Big Blue, Comix Britainnia and Cult of a Suicide Bomber.
